The cylinders department is also responsible for “Tanks/Systems” designed to contain:

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas),
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) or
compressed hydrogen

used to fuel vehicle engines.

Our services for companies

Apragaz started this activity at the end of the 1990s with the approval of LPG tanks manufactured in accordance with “R67”.

Since then, Apragaz has continued to expand its scope of accreditation.

Being accredited as “Technical Service B, C and D”, Apragaz can assist you in the approval of Tanks and Systems manufactured in accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2018/858 or with the UN regulations, and more precisely according to the following “regulatory acts”:

Special components for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) engines and their installation on motor vehicles	UN Regulation No. 67 Regulation (EC) No. 661/2009 (#)
Special components for CNG engines and their installation in motor vehicles	UN Regulation No. 110 Regulation (EC) No. 661/2009 (#)
Hydrogen system	UN Regulation No. 134 UN Regulation No. 146 Regulation (EC) No. 79/2009 (#)

(#) As of 5 July 2022, the EC Regulations will be repealed (see REGULATION (EU) 2019/2144). Only UN regulations can be used.
