
LPG, propane and butane
If you own or lease an above-ground or underground LPG (propane) tank, it is part of the installations that is subject to various regulatory requirements.
Our services for individuals
The tank must comply with construction, establishment, safety distances, fire prevention, maintenance.
The external and internal piping, as well as the equipment for use, must comply with standards NBN D51-006, NBN B61-001 and/or NBN B61-002.
Apragaz, market leader in the LPG related inspections in Belgium, is at your service.
Apragaz is authorized to carry out the inspection of LPG installations. (Tank, pipes and indoor installations).
Tank (<= 3000L above ground in the whole of Belgium, <=3000L underground in Brussels and Flanders or <= 5000L underground for the Walloon Region)
The tank must be inspected before it is put into service, then periodically or after every modification.
The tanks may be placed above or below ground and must comply with safety distances (property boundaries, public roads, flammable material, openings in buildings, etc.).
The accessories of the tank are also checked. (conformity, density, ...)
Piping and appliances
The piping must be tested before commissioning and after each modification to the installation.
The user equipment (boiler, stove, ...) must be installed correctly and ensure proper smoke evacuation in accordance with the standards
